THE TEMPLE IS COMING!!!

History:

In late 2011 Shari received a vision that we were to build a Temple on our land. We were curious, why is it being called a Temple and why now? We were informed that this Temple will be a focal point for Spirit’s indwelling Presence, a sanctuary to hold ceremony and workshops.  It is being called a Temple, reminiscent of long ago when Temple spaces were enlivened by the interactive dance between humans and God/Spirit. The time is now because we are participating in a phenomenal shift in consciousness and we need a sacred space to gather as community to rejoice, grow, and learn together.

As with all visions we receive, we are committed to manifesting this one according to the instructions given to us by Spirit. We were told that the building of this structure is to be a collaboration between Source and our community. We are to hold space for this unfolding and contribute financially, and will receive financial help from others and assistance in the form of labor (rather like a barn raising).

Previous Status:

Two master builders from our community Andrew Stein and Derek Osborne have been discussing with us building plans for the Temple. One of these men has chosen to donate his time to oversee this entire process! As a result of these meetings we have preliminary drawings and a broad vision for its structure. A number of you have responded to our original inquiry and have expressed interest and enthusiasm in contributing to the labor process. We have also received financial contributions for which we are very grateful.

Current Status:

The majority of the subflooring is down.  This weekend 5-5 and 5-6 are two work days in which we will do framing of the walls.   If you have some carpentry skills and would like to participate please write back.

We are continuing to ask for and to receive financial contributions.

If you wish to donate send us a check by mail.  Please make it out to Sacred Journeys and mail it to 41 St. Andrews Lane,
